Facilitator Training for PFAST and LPFAST--Evening Session starts this week / Daytime session on 4/28--Spaces Available

You may be familiar with Parent & Family Advocacy and Support Training (PFAST) and Latino PFAST (LPFAST) in Spanish—two popular parent trainings we provide through Durham County Cooperative Extension to help parents better navigate their public schools to help their child succeed.  This April, we are offering a free facilitator training to community members interested in becoming a trained PFAST and/or LPFAST facilitator—facilitators will receive a certification for their participation along with a training notebook and a meal.

PFAST/LPFAST Facilitator Training,  2 options (pick one)

     Evening--Wednesdays, April 22 and April 29 5:30-8:30PM, Dinner and Check-In 5-5:30
Spanish Translation provided for Wednesday night sessions only.
Daytime—Tuesday, April 28 9:00AM-4:30PM

Please see attached Flyer and Registration Form for the details.

We will also have a Spanish translator available at the evening facilitator training sessions only.  If you need a Spanish translator, please indicate this on the registration form.  Optimally, it is helpful to be bilingual English/Spanish in order to complete the training, but it is not required.  We are also training Parent Facilitators--parents who speak Spanish who want to become parent facilitators of the training.
