Parents will learn tips and strategies to help choose a school for their child. Learn about school options (DPS magnet, high school CTE pathways, charter), what to look for, school-child-family fit, and tips on the DPS magnet school lottery (which runs January 11-29).
Choose from any of the following dates:
Thursday, January 7, 6:00-7:30PM (English)
Thursday, January 7, 6:00-7:30PM (Spanish)
Friday, January 8, 2016, 12:00-1:30PM (English)
Light snack provided. Participants are welcome to bring lunch to "lunch and learn" for the Friday session.
The process of choosing a school is often a stressful one for families and we seek to demystify the process and help families approach this decision in a way that is positive and more productive.
